A brief history of Oberoi Group of Hotels and the Operations of a Hotel

Ms. Amrita Kaur – Human Resource Supervisor and Ms. Akansha Sengar were invited to brief the students about one of the best hotel brands – The Oberoi Hotels and Resorts and upskilling oneself. The students were made aware about the different programs and opportunities offered by the group- Management training programs (OCLD and OCER) and the skills that the budding hoteliers must obtain.

Sports Nutrition

Ms. Monika Gopal, Sports Nutritionist delivered an insightful expert lecture on Sports Nutrition, highlighting its vast scope and impressive growth. Exploring the essential role of nutrition in athletic performance, she discussed the evolving strategies and personalized approaches that cater to athletes’ specific needs. Her lecture shed light on the dynamic landscape of Sports Nutrition, emphasising its pivotal contribution to enhancing athletes’ well-being and achievements.

FLOWER ARRANGEMENT

Mr. Himanshu Katoch, Assistant Professor and industry specialist led an inspiring flower arrangement session, transforming blooms into exquisite art. Participants explored creative techniques, blending colours and textures harmoniously. His expert guidance cultivated a newfound appreciation for floral design, resulting in stunning arrangements that radiated beauty and imagination. An unforgettable experience of floral craftsmanship.

SESSION 4

MOCKTAIL SESSION

An engaging session led by Mr. Vijay and Mr. Satish, bar experts at Ramada, Zirakpur, delving into the art of mixology. Students were immersed in the world of crafting exquisite cocktails, learning about flavour profiles, techniques and ingredient pairings. The expert’s hands on guidance and insightful tips enlightened attendees on creating unique and balanced drinks. This workshop was a captivating journey into the realm of mixology, empowering enthusiasts to elevate their mocktail crafting skills.
