SESSION 1

TOWEL ART BY WYNDHAM

Chandigarh College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology invited Ms. Manu Mehndiratta, Human Resource Manager, Mr. Rajinder, Executive Housekeeper, Mr. Vikram, Room attendant at Wyndham Chandigarh Mohali to conduct a workshop on Towel Art. The towel art session infused creativity and practicality, captivating students with their innovative techniques. Crafting elegant designs, they transformed ordinary towels into extraordinary masterpieces. The session seamlessly blended artistry and fun, leaving an indelible impression on students.

EXPERT LECTURE

Advancements in Tourism Industry

Mr. Arpit Narula, Human Resource Manager, Travelopod was invited to deliver a lecture on advancements in tourism industry. He emphasized on technology’s role, citing AI driven travel recommendations, virtual tourism and seamless booking experiences. Environmental sustainability efforts, personalized itineraries and cultural immersion. The lecture concluded by envisioning a future where innovation continues to redefine how we explore and experience the world.

DINING ETIQUETTES

Mr. Rohit Bisht and Ms. Savitri, our Food and Beverage experts exemplifies refined dining etiquette and table set up. With practiced poise they arranged cutlery and crockery meticulously, from outer to inner and employs appropriate cutlery for each course, the embodied grace, maintaining polite conversation and using utensils delicately. The students were made aware how to respect the culinary artistry and fellow diners.

GUEST LECTURE

Fuelling Vitality: Understanding the Role of Nutrition in Health and its Significance

Students had an interactive session, in which they understand the role of nutrition in health and its beneficial effects which improve cognitive function, energy levels, and overall academic performance. The lecturer delved into the crucial connection between nutrition and well-being.

SESSION 5

TASTING MARATHON

Chef Mandeep, Chef Deepak and our Food and beverage expert Mr. Gunjan orchestrated a sensational tasting marathon, a gourmet delight that indulged students in a whirlwind tour of flavours. A gastronomic adventure that went through different ingredients- fennel seeds, Paprika, tamarind, chilli pineapple, pickles, jalapenos, rock salt, black pepper celebrating the culinary diversity. A memorable journey through tastes and cultures.

SESSION BY TPP

The training and placement program session lecture was led by Ms. Priyanka where she guided the students how the training and placement program equip students with essential skills and industry exposure, enhancing their employability. It bridges academia and professional world, offering internships and campus interviews. The program nurtures well rounded graduates, ready to excel in their careers.
